Track every episode you watch.
A Watchmode key is optional and free. It powers streaming availability, My Services and the Watch button. Everything else — search, your watchlist, marking episodes watched, new-episode notifications and iCloud sync — works without it.
The same walkthrough is in the app under Settings → Frequently Asked Questions.
When one of your services carries a show, the show's page has a “Watch on” button with that service's logo. Tap it and the show opens in the service's app if it's installed, otherwise in Safari.
A few services only let another app open their app, not a particular show — Discovery+ is one. Those open at the app's home screen, and you search for the show there.
Don't see the button? It appears only when all of these are true: a Watchmode key is saved, the service is ticked in My Services, that service carries the show, and Watchmode has a link to the show itself rather than just the service's home page.
Open Settings in Bingester. If it says Local Only, the device isn't signed in to iCloud, or iCloud Drive is off for the app. Check Settings → [your name] → iCloud on the device. When sync is working, Bingester says Syncing via iCloud.
Bingester checks for new episodes when you open it and periodically in the background. Make sure notifications are allowed for Bingester in the iOS Settings app, and that Background App Refresh is enabled.
Episodes that aired before you added a show are not announced as new — only episodes airing from that point on.
